Baby Jack

Newborn shoots are always one of my favorites - there are so many tiny little details and sweet moments, and this was no exception! Baby Jack is a long, strong, and handsome little fellow, it was really something to see him picking his head up and being so alert.

Jack has his parents' stuffed bears from their childhoods keeping him company - how cool is that?!

Congratulations to Victoria and John on such a sweet little guy! -MEJ

baby emma

Here's the big look at baby Emma, who I photographed last Sunday. She was so wide awake and wiggly and responsive, making all sorts of fun faces for us.

I love this handmade quilt with Peter Rabbit and friends on it! Emma, however, did not love ditching her clothes. Back to onesies.

Agnes, the family bulldog, wanted in on the portrait action. How could I resist that face?

One of my favorite parts of newborn shoots are all the literally little details; itty bitty socks and scrunched tiny toes and peach fuzzy down.

Emma's big sister Julia was so patient and caring during our shoot, and I'm sure a big help to her parents. Emma is a lucky little gal with her beautiful big sister to have her back.

I just love her full head of hair!

Congratulations to Michael and Sarah, and Julia, and Agnes on their sweet, smiling addition! -M

baby nolan

know what makes a 10-hour roadtrip to visit one of your favorite towns ever even better than it already is?! baby photo-shoots! first up we have the handsome Mr. Nolan; his papa and my big brother grew up together so it's extra special to see familiar faces in Savannah. I was so excited to shoot in Forsyth Park for the first time as a professional and not just a tourist. what a great day!

Erin was instrumental at keeping Nolan happy and giggly the whole shoot! Props to you, mama!

cheers, y'all! have a wonderful weekend, and stay tuned for Zuri's photos. -M
