Y'all remember this perfect adventure I had with Mike and Nicholette last year? It pales in comparison to how flawless their big day was. It felt like AGES that we'd been calling, e-mailing, meeting up and scouting, and just geeking out over this wedding. Maybe it's because the Jourdaks and the Dunleavys go so way, way, way (like, before any of us kids were born) far back that they're basically family, or because this was one of the biggest weddings I've ever shot, but I was -so- anxious and excited and giddy for this day to come.

I love these big smiles! Just a little moment after the "I do" before the rest of the bridal party arrived at the back of the church.
Congratulations to Mike and Nic!! Thank you both so much for going with the flow when it comes to climbing trees or sitting on cold paving stones to get the perfect shot, for being so wonderfully sweet and easy to work with, and for trusting me implicitly with documenting this fairytale. This was such a wonderful experience, and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Wishing you both nothing but love and happiness all your days together! -M
